McDonald Peak is a 10,068-foot mountain in Idaho’s Sawtooth Range, within the Sawtooth Wilderness of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. In Blaine County, southwest of Pettit Lake, its summit rises in a rugged central Idaho landscape protected as wilderness. About 1.93 miles southeast of Parks Peak, its line parent, McDonald Peak reaches 3,069 meters above sea level and stands among the high points of this mountainous terrain.
