Nature
Decker Peak is a 10,704-foot mountain in Idaho’s Sawtooth Range, in the Sawtooth Wilderness of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. Rising in rugged central Idaho, it lies about 2.3 miles south-southwest of Mount Cramer, its line parent. At 10,704 feet, it is the third highest summit in the Sawtooth Range and the 204th highest peak in Idaho. Its location within federally protected wilderness places it among the Sawtooths’ steep granite peaks and remote high country, a landscape that defines the range’s character and significance.
