The Organ is a prominent sandstone rock formation in Arches National Park in eastern Utah, distinguished by its double summit and steep rise above the desert near the park road. Formed from Entrada Sandstone, with the Slick Rock Member above the Dewey Bridge Member, it towers about 500 feet over the road in just 0.1 mile and drains through Courthouse Wash toward the Colorado River. Officially recognized by the United States Board on Geographic Names, it is also notable in climbing history, with first ascents of its true and lower northeast summits in 1986, and it briefly appeared in the opening credits of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989.
