At 5569 West Henrietta Road, a four-generation farming operation included the Tirabassi Farm Market from 1965 to 1995 and the Tirabassi Family Homestead from 1932 to 2000. It was established by Emidio Tirabassi of Sulmona, Italy, and his sons Frank, Samuel, and John and daughter Julia. Emidio first settled on Middle Road in 1917. The farm is now the location of Erie Station Village, a new community of apartments and townhomes built by Konar Properties on principles of traditional neighborhood design.
