McFarland Peak is a limestone mountain in the northern Spring Mountains of southern Nevada, in Clark County within the Toiyabe National Forest and the Mount Charleston Wilderness. North of Mount Charleston and southwest of Macks Peak, it stands in the rugged high country that rises above the desert surrounding Las Vegas. Its location within a protected wilderness area gives the mountain a remote, undeveloped character and reflects the contrast between the region’s elevated terrain and the desert below.
