Clayton Lake State Park is a 510-acre recreation area in southeastern Oklahoma's Pushmataha County, about five miles south of Clayton. Centered on Clayton Lake, it offers camping, boating, fishing, swimming, and day-use facilities in a rural setting. The park supports both short visits and overnight stays with RV sites, tent camping, primitive cabins, and a family-style two-bedroom cabin, along with picnic shelters, comfort stations, boat ramps, an ADA-accessible fishing dock, a playground, hiking trails, and a swimming beach. It also gained wider attention as one of seven Oklahoma state parks in the path of totality for the 2024 solar eclipse, where totality lasted one minute and twenty seconds.
