Table Mountain is an eleven-thousand, one-hundred-eleven-foot peak in Wyoming’s Teton Range, standing on the border between Grand Teton National Park and the Jedediah Smith Wilderness in Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Rising west of the south fork of Cascade Canyon and just over a mile north of Hurricane Pass, it is also locally known as Table Rock. Its name comes from its broad, table-like shape, which makes it a distinctive landmark in this part of the range. Its location at the edge of the national park and adjoining wilderness places it within a landscape defined both by protected backcountry and by the better-known Teton peaks.
