Built in 1925 with a generous gift from the O'Connor family of Rochester, New York, the building originally housed a laundry, dairy, and wood working shop. It was repurposed as a library in 1985 following the closing of the boarding school and became the Chatfield College Library. In 2012, the building was renovated, including the northern addition. Thanks to Rosemary and Mark Schlachter, longtime faculty member Fr. Raymond Kammerer, and other benefactors, it was renamed the Fr. Raymond Kammerer Library & Learning Center.
