Stoddard Hill State Park is a 55-acre public recreation area on the eastern shore of the Thames River in Ledyard, south of Norwich in southeastern Connecticut. Added to the state park system in 1954 through a land donation, it was among several parks acquired with funds bequeathed by George Dudley Seymour to secure recreational land for public use. The small riverside park is known for boating, fishing, and hiking, including a five-acre tidal estuary with a launch for car-top boats. A trail climbs Stoddard Hill, which rises 183 feet and was used by Native Americans as a lookout.
