Smith's Meeting House was built by Micajah Smith about 1800 and was incorporated in 1837 as Methodist Union Chapel at Blackman's Mills. Buried in the church yard are Micajah Smith, John Van Sant, privateer captains, and Jonas Morse and James Bell, Revolutionary soldiers.
