Bandera Mountain is a peak in Washington’s Alpine Lakes Wilderness near Snoqualmie Pass in the central Cascades. It is commonly accessed by the Mason Lake Trail, also called the Ira Springs Memorial Trail, which begins near Interstate 90 at Exit 45 on Forest Road 9031. The mountain sits in the marine west coast climate zone that influences much of the western Cascades, where Pacific weather systems rise over the range and bring heavy precipitation through orographic lift. Winter snowfall is especially significant on the west side of the mountains, while summer high pressure often produces clearer skies. Runoff from Bandera Mountain drains into the Snoqualmie River.
