Bahr Mill Complex in Colebrookdale Township, Pennsylvania, is a preserved rural milling property centered on a banked stone grist mill built in 1897. Developed across the 19th and early 20th centuries, it includes a notably complete group of buildings such as a farmhouse, smokehouse, sawmill, store, bank barn, sheds, shoemaker’s shop, chicken house, pig sty, outhouse, and garage. Especially significant is its more than 175 years of operation under the Gable family, which gives the site unusual continuity and shows how milling, farming, trade, and household life were closely connected in a Pennsylvania rural community. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
