Loux Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered road bridge on Wismer Road where it crosses Cabin Run in Bedminster and Plumstead townships in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Built in 1874 by David Sutton, it is made of hemlock and uses the Town truss, a lattice design widely used for timber bridges in the 19th century. At 60 feet long, it is one of the county’s shorter covered bridges and stands near Cabin Run Covered Bridge within a small cluster of surviving spans. Its importance rests in preserving a rural 19th-century bridge type once common in the landscape, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
