Alfred A. Loeb State Park
Nature
Alfred A. Loeb State Park is an Oregon park along the Chetco River that supports both river recreation and overnight stays. Managed by the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, it offers camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, and rafting, along with three rental cabins, fifty-three campsites, a day-use area, and a drift boat launch. The park is especially notable as the starting point of a three-quarter-mile trail through the northernmost coastal redwood grove in the United States, combining a distinctive botanical feature with its riverside recreational setting.
