Marys River Peak is the highest mountain in the Marys River Range of northern Nevada, within the Jarbidge Wilderness in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The surrounding landscape is managed by the Jarbidge Ranger District. The peak was named for the nearby Marys River, a tributary of the Humboldt. Its importance is chiefly geographic, as the high point of the range, anchoring the skyline of this remote part of northeastern Nevada and contributing to the protected mountain country of the Jarbidge Wilderness.
