Lake Eucha Park
Nature
Lake Eucha Park is a 31-acre public recreation area in northeastern Oklahoma, in Delaware County near Jay, now owned and managed by the city of Tulsa after formerly being part of the Oklahoma state park system. Although named for Lake Eucha, it is not on the lake shore and is fenced off from it. Parks have existed around the lake since at least 1938, and this site’s oldest clearly connected lease began in 1967. Also known as Lake Eucha State Park and Upper Spavinaw State Park, it has shifted within the region’s recreation system and now serves as a day-use picnic park with swimming, shelters, trails, and reservable group use.
