Veterans Freedom Park is dedicated to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. Its mission is to provide a peaceful, serene setting where people can learn, reflect, remember, and honor all veterans, while educating the public about past and present wars and conflicts in which the United States participated and allowing space for future conflicts. It also memorializes veterans from Central Michigan who gave their lives in the line of duty, including individuals from Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, and Midland counties who died in World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and the Gulf Era.
