Twin Harbors State Park is a 225-acre public recreation area on Washington’s Pacific coast, about two miles south of Westport in Grays Harbor County. Its setting combines an open ocean beach with a shoreline pine forest, giving it both expansive coastal views and a more sheltered interior. The land began becoming parkland in 1937, when the state started acquiring a former U.S. Army training ground. Today, its significance lies chiefly in coastal recreation, with camping, fishing, clamming, and beachcombing drawing visitors. A half-mile interpretive trail through the pine forest near the shore adds a short walk that reflects both the woodland and ocean environment.
