Bottle Beach State Park is a 64-acre public recreation area on the southern shore of Grays Harbor in Washington near the historic townsite of Ocosta. Much of it consists of tide flats, with about 6,000 feet of shoreline that supports birdwatching, wildlife viewing, and hiking. The park was created through local conservation efforts led by birding experts Bob Morse and Ruby Egbert, who personally donated money to help buy the land in 1993. Part of the park is named the Ruby Egbert Natural Area in recognition of her role. Opened in 1995, the park stands out for both its shoreline habitat and the direct community support that helped preserve it.
