Tumalo State Park is an Oregon state park on the Deschutes River northwest of Bend, established in 1954 on 115 acres given by Deschutes County and later expanded to 330 acres through purchases and land transfers. The park stretches along both sides of the river, with basalt cliffs, open juniper woodland, sagebrush ground, and a riparian corridor of willow, dogwood, alder, and poplar that supports abundant birdlife. O.B. Riley Road divides its main developed areas, with picnic grounds on one side and a campground on the other. Open year-round, it is both a heavily used recreation park and a refuge for wildlife in the Deschutes canyon.
