Dominguez Canyon Wilderness is a protected wilderness area in western Colorado, southeast of Grand Junction. Established in 2009, it covers 66,280 acres within the larger 209,610-acre Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area. The area includes two major canyon systems that drain the northeastern corner of the Uncompahgre Plateau. It is significant as the largest Bureau of Land Management roadless area in Colorado, preserving an extensive expanse of canyon country as part of a broader conserved landscape.
