Toll Donaghe died in World War I in 1918, and Lee Elliott died in World War II in 1943. Donaghe-Elliott Post 56 in Haskell, Oklahoma, was chartered in 1934. The post honored all American veterans and was dedicated on May 25, 2009, with the words, “In times of trouble and of war God and the Soldier we all adore / With trouble ended and all things righted God and the Soldier soon are slighted / Lest We Forget.”
