Beaver Springs Public School was erected in 1884 adjacent to the Old Adamsburg Cemetery and was used until 1956. In Beaver Springs's bicentennial year of 2006, John H. Davis, the current owner of the old schoolhouse, donated the bell and dedicated it as a memorial to all who attended the school.
