Bridal Veil Falls is a distinctive waterfall on the Little River in DuPont State Forest near Brevard, North Carolina. Rather than dropping straight down, it begins with a short ledge and then spreads across a long sloping granite face that steepens before reaching pools and broad rock slabs below, while part of the river also descends a separate 25-foot cascade. Its broad exposed rock and easy access by trail, bicycle route, and a gentle path to the base make it one of the forest’s most approachable and recognizable falls. It has also appeared in The Last of the Mohicans and The Hunger Games and is part of the forest’s notable cluster of waterfalls.
