French Cabin Mountain is a triple-peaked mountain in central Washington, about six miles north of Easton between Kachess Lake and Cle Elum Lake, on land managed by the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. Its three summits reach 5,724 feet at West Peak, 5,560 feet at South Peak, and 5,498 feet at North Peak. The mountain is notable for its strong local relief, rising steeply above Silver Creek and Cle Elum Lake. Its runoff drains north to French Cabin Creek and south to Silver Creek within the Yakima River basin. East of the Cascade crest, it lies in a drier zone with warm summers, occasional thunderstorms, and generally clearer dry-season weather.
