Established in 1820, this small burial ground is the final resting place of students, staff, faculty, trustees, and their families of Phillips Academy, founded in 1778, the Andover Theological Seminary, founded in 1807, and Abbot Academy, founded in 1829. It also holds seven Phillips Academy heads of school and Harriet Beecher Stowe, author of Uncle Tom's Cabin.
