Crystal Glacier is a mountain glacier in North Cascades National Park on the south slopes of Mount Shuksan in Washington. Beginning east of the summit area, it stretches about 1.25 miles and descends from roughly 8,200 feet to 5,800 feet. Near its upper reaches it connects with other glaciers on Mount Shuksan, including Sulphide, East Nooksack, and Hanging glaciers, forming part of a broader high-alpine glacial system. A striking feature of this landscape is the shared ice and meltwater cascades known as Sulphide Basin Falls. Below them, Sulphide Lake drains over Sulphide Creek Falls in a nearly 2,200-foot plunge, among North America’s highest waterfalls.
