Fourth of July Peak is a 10,713-foot mountain in Idaho’s White Cloud Mountains within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area in Custer County. Rising west of Fourth of July and Washington lakes, it stands in a rugged high alpine landscape marked by sharp relief and remoteness. The summit lies 2.54 miles from Castle Peak, its line parent, and ranks as Idaho’s 201st highest summit. Its name is linked to nearby Fourth of July Lake, and it remains part of the protected backcountry character of the White Clouds.
