West Buffalo Peak is a 13,327-foot summit in central Colorado's Mosquito Range and the higher of the two Buffalo Peaks, rising slightly above nearby East Buffalo Peak. Located within the Buffalo Peaks Wilderness, it forms one of the notable high points in this part of the range. Its importance comes from both its elevation and its setting, as the highest of the Buffalo Peaks and a prominent mountain within a protected wilderness landscape.
