Nature
Pillsbury State Park in New Hampshire lies mainly in Washington and partly in Goshen at the headwaters of the Ashuelot River. It is valued for a quiet backcountry setting instead of heavily developed facilities. Among the more rustic campgrounds in the state park system, it has no electricity and only limited running water. The park includes 40 campsites, most of them reservable, with 11 remote sites reached largely by canoe. Its hiking trails connect to the 51-mile Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, making the park a useful starting point for both paddling and longer-distance hiking.
