Big Heart Falls is a tall, hard-to-reach waterfall in Washington on the outlet stream of Big Heart Lake, along water that ultimately flows to the Skykomish River. Set in rugged mountains between Big Heart Lake’s outlet and Delta Lake’s inlet, it drops about 1,268 feet in two main tiers separated by cascades, with each principal tier about 600 feet tall. Its average flow is around 80 cubic feet per second. Angeline Falls stands less than a quarter mile away on the same cliff. Big Heart Lake’s name is thought to reflect the lake’s roughly heart-shaped outline.
