Lower North Falls
Nature
Lower North Falls is a waterfall in Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, on the eastern edge of the Salem area. Set in the park’s western foothills near Mount Hood National Forest and the Middle Santiam Wilderness, it is one of the cascades that help make the Trail of Ten Falls one of the state’s best-known waterfall routes. It is the last of six waterfalls along North Silver Creek and lies farther from the main trail than the other falls on that branch of the canyon. Along Canyon Trail, it stands about a quarter mile north of Drake Falls, with Double Falls just upstream on Hullt Creek.
