Double Falls is a waterfall in Oregon’s Silver Falls State Park, about twenty-three miles east of Salem, in the western foothills near Mount Hood National Forest and the Middle Santiam Wilderness. Set within a park celebrated for its concentration of large cascades, it lies on the Trail of Ten Falls along Canyon Trail, a short distance from Lower North Falls. Unlike several of the park’s better-known waterfalls, it is formed by Hullt Creek rather than Silver Creek, dropping just before that tributary joins the North Fork Silver Creek. It is recognized as the tallest waterfall in the park and as a notable stop on its famed hiking route.
