The United States Government Land Grant transfer from Byron Kilbourn and others to Caroline P. Brown took place March 10, 1847. This front gable home was typical of many houses built between 1850 and 1925. The property is part of the original plat of the Village of West Bend. It was built in 1893 when Martin and Eva Tuchscherer owned the property.
