Mill Pond Park in the City of Brighton was dedicated on October 14, 1972, to the people of the Brighton community as a community recreation facility made possible through contributions from the citizens, service clubs, and organizations of the Brighton area, assisted by the City of Brighton and State of Michigan through the Recreation Bond Program.
