Nature
Boaz Mountain is an Oregon summit rising 3,497 feet, or 1,066 meters. Rather than a major developed destination, it stands as a named feature in the state’s landscape. In 1879, the mountain was named for pioneer settler Kinder Boaz, linking it to the period when many places in Oregon took their names from early residents whose lives became embedded in the local geography.
