Leaming's Run Gardens was a 30-acre public flower garden in Swainton, New Jersey, developed by Jack and Emily Aprill and their children after they bought the property in 1957 and opened it to visitors in 1977. Named for Uncle Aaron Leaming's Run, the stream crossing the land, it connected a modern garden attraction to an older local landscape feature. Until its indefinite closure, it identified itself as the largest annual flower garden in the United States. The grounds were arranged in themed sections defined by color and planting style, including blue-and-white plantings, the Down Jersey Garden, a red-salvia Serpentine Garden, and cottage, hibiscus, reflection, and rose gardens.
