Charlotte Dome is a granite dome in California’s Kings Canyon National Park, set in the high Sierra southeast of Glacier Monument and north of Bubbs Creek, with the easiest access from the Onion Valley trailhead to the east. It is especially significant to climbers for its South Face Route, featured in Fifty Classic Climbs of North America. Rated grade III, class 5.7, that climb has made Charlotte Dome a prominent destination for traditional rock climbing and a notable backcountry landmark within the park.
