Enchanted Mountain was a medium-sized ski area on Coburn Mountain in Maine, developed in the mid-1960s as an isolated alpine resort with broad views and eight runs served by a chairlift, T-bar, and beginner lift. After opening in 1966 and expanding to the summit the next year, it grew into a fuller resort with a ski school, lodge, restaurant, and other amenities. But without snowmaking or night skiing, and facing financial trouble, remote conditions, harsh winds, and competition from larger Maine resorts, it struggled to survive. Its last known season was 1972–1973, and by 1974 the area was liquidated and dismantled.
