Emily and Theodore Hope Forest is a three hundred seventy-six-acre permanent forest reservation in Danbury, New Hampshire, created from a larger land gift by Theodore S. Hope Jr. and Emily Blanchard Hope. After retiring to Danbury following more than fifty years practicing corporate law in New York City, the Hopes donated four hundred eighty-two acres to the New England Forestry Foundation in 1987. In 1991, three hundred seventy-six acres of that gift became part of the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests and was established under their names. Entered from Roy Ford Road, the property includes about four miles of hiking on old logging trails through relatively rugged, lightly developed terrain.
