Cache Col Glacier
Nature
Cache Col Glacier lies in Washington’s North Cascades National Park on the east slope of Mix-up Peak, about one mile northwest of Yawning Glacier. It is significant for its documented retreat during the second half of the 20th century and the early 21st century. Between 1950 and 2005, the glacier receded by nearly 100 meters, reflecting the wider pattern of change affecting many glaciers in the North Cascades.
