Bennett Bridge is a historic covered bridge in northern Oxford County, Maine, south of Wilsons Mills in Lincoln Plantation, where it once carried Littlehale Road over the Magalloway River. Generally dated to 1901 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, it is among Maine’s relatively few older covered bridges. The structure is a 92-foot Paddleford truss on granite abutments, distinguished by diagonal cross members tied to king posts. Built to link a small group of farms with the area’s main road, it later bore heavy logging-truck traffic, and that strain helped lead to its closure in 1985.
