Barnes Creek in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is an archaeological site focused on a small navigable stream that flows east to Lake Michigan through the Carol Beach area. Near Highway 165 and Sheridan Road, this site preserves evidence of prehistoric American Indian settlements dating from about 200 to 1400 AD, within the mid-Woodland period. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is significant for documenting long-term Indigenous occupation along a short lakeshore waterway.
