Built by Presbyterians in 1791, Cane Ridge Meeting House was the place where Barton W. Stone began his ministry in 1796, where a famous revival attended by pioneers of many faiths took place in 1801, and where the Springfield Presbytery was dissolved and the "Christian Church" launched on June 28, 1804.
