Mount Tipton rises 7,153 feet in northwestern Arizona and is the highest point of the Cerbat Mountains. The range borders Kingman on the north, and the mountain is also the high point of the Mount Tipton Wilderness, which includes the entire northern part of the Cerbat Mountains. Dolan Springs lies at its western base on the northwest side of the range. Mount Tipton is significant chiefly for its elevation and for serving as the defining summit of both the Cerbat Mountains and the wilderness area that bears its name.
