High Rocks is a summit in Frelinghuysen Township, Warren County, New Jersey, rising 679 feet in the Kittatinny Valley within the Appalachian Mountains. Although not especially high, it is part of the larger Appalachian landscape that defines northwestern New Jersey. The name applies to a particular summit in that valley rather than to an extensive mountain massif, giving the place significance as a distinct local feature within a broader regional terrain.
