A monument erected by the Greenwood Cemetery Society on July 4, 1958, honors the brave youth of Columbia Falls who unselfishly entered the armed forces to help keep America free. They left their families and friends to fight for their country and are saluted as a valiant band and the noble saviors of the land who shall be honored for many years.
