The 1887 cornerstone from the original Larimer County Courthouse bore the inscription "Justitia non est neganda non differenda," translated as "Justice is not to be denied nor delayed," and was set on August 11, 1887. A second cornerstone from the Larimer County Courthouse was set on September 10, 1955.
