Jamestown Dam was a 1953 Missouri River Basin project built by and for the people of the United States for the conservation, control, and use of water resources. The dam had a height of 110 feet, a crest length of 1418 feet, and a reservoir capacity of 230,000 acre feet. It was associated with the United States Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation.
