Chamberlin Mill Covered Bridge in Lyndon, Vermont, carries Chamberlain Bridge Road over the South Wheelock Branch of the Passumpsic River and remains a working example of the area’s late 19th-century bridge-building tradition. Also known as the Chamberlain or Whitcomb Covered Bridge, it is one of a small group of closely related covered bridges that survive in Lyndon and nearby Danville. The single-span queenpost truss bridge stands on stone abutments, with a metal gabled roof, partly enclosed boarded sides, and timber framing reinforced by iron rods. Its exact construction date is uncertain, but debate recorded in 1881 suggests it may have been roofed around that time.
